Antalya is experiencing a period of intense heat, with temperatures reaching as high as 39°C in some parts of the city. The hot weather has driven both residents and tourists to the coastline in search of relief.
According to local reports, sea temperatures have risen to around 29°C, while humidity levels remain relatively low. Popular beaches such as Konyaaltı and Lara saw large crowds throughout the day.
Many visitors spent time swimming or relaxing in shaded areas near the shore. Some also chose quieter spots along the rocky coastline for a refreshing dip.
Health experts advise avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight during peak afternoon hours, staying hydrated, and taking appropriate precautions. Forecasts indicate that the unusually hot weather is likely to continue for the next several days.
